11:50 am [btremaine]	Hello! Well I figured, since it appears we're close to opening, that I'd introduce myself! I'm Lala, and this here is Bradford Tremaine III. Bradford isn't too complicated of a guy. He does what he thinks is best for his family, not really caring (all that much) about the other families, but he holds no grudges against anyone. He's just there, a perfectionist for the most part, and had to be one of the first to arrive at the house in San Fran. He loves playing the guitar, singing, and if one is lucky enough you might catch him performing at one of the local coffeehouses, just cause. He's not looking into going into music full time, he's just doing something for a bit of enjoyment. He has ties to the Cassidy's, he and Myrna had a child together that was sadly killed by a hunter. Although he doesn't know this, he has no idea what a one night stand produced, which will be fun to play out in game. Might I just say that I'm terribly excited to start? Cause I am! *grins* I'm opening to plotting, chatting whatever, so feel free to hit me up on AIM at lalajuba. Be forewarned, I'm typically on but invisible. So ping me, and if I'm there I'll answer! 5:23 pm [the_pale_rider]	A bit of admin business Hello everyone! Welcome to the game. My name is Hope, and I will be one of your lovely co-mods. I also play Rosemarie Abendroth, head of the Abendroth Bloodline, Necromancers at large. I hope that everyone is as excited for the game to start as I am. :) Thank you for bringing your lovely kids to the game. I think we're going to have a blast! I have decided to undertake a rather large project so that we can have some continuity in the magic used in this game. I am going to be your go-to person for all matters magical, and, as such, I am working on creating Spell Books for each family. Thus, you need not worry about coming up with a whole bunch of spells off the bat, because they will be there for you! Feel free to make your own, but run them by me first so we can be sure they fit into your character's school. The books, tentatively, will be divided into average, intermediate, and advanced spells. This scale more indicates the amount of mana used when casting the spell. How it's broken down from there is pretty much up to you. Do you see the younger members of your family sticking mostly to the average / intermediate spells due to lack of experience? Does your family head possess the ability to cast advanced spells but have a fear of doing so for some reason or other? The possibilities are endless; the choices are yours, and yours alone! I plan to post the books in the Mod journal, or they will be linked to a Google Document. I have not yet decided this part. I'm leaning towards mod journal because that will allow a certain degree of friends locking. The first page will be open for anyone to view as a sample, but the rest of the pages will be locked to members of the game. The titles of the Spell Books are as follows: Abendroth - Necromancy - The Obsidian Grimoire Lamontagne - Divination - The Gold Grimoire Cassidy - Conjuration - The Amber Grimoire Tremaine - Illusion - The Amythyst Grimoire Varias - Transmutation - The Jade Grimoire - Abjuration - The Pearl Grimoire - Evocation - The Ruby Grimoire - Enchantment - The Sapphire Grimoire I will make posts as they are completed / posted / updated. I will be starting with a preliminary list for all of the families for the game to start, to which I will be added. They will be completed in order of application, and The Obsidian Grimoire, for now, is finished, and I will be starting on The Gold Grimoire next. Any questions, feel free to contact me!
